This is an awesome FAMILY game, I have two foster boys. That is why I have to hide their faces in picture. I love how this game relates to life as a kid. Some questions about lying, fits, school, etc. What was nice was one question I was reading to them was happening. His brother took his toy without asking and it says, "what do you do"? This is by far the BEST game ever. I am so glad as was chosen by the The Tryazon Team to try this game out. I recommend this game for any family with kids. In our situation with Foster kids this game played a Big part in helping with their behavior. But it's not all questions. It has fun do's to. If you get a do card you have to do silly things. One card I had to have a staring contest. My foster son BEAT me. LOL. We had so much fun playing this game and will continue sharing this game with my family and all foster kids that pass through our humble home. They also love the Q monkey plush and the book as well as the coloring book. I wish I knew about this game sooner.! This game helps them with manners, school, home life, and just being a kid. We ask a lot out of our kids and it's nice to hear how they feel about life, and praise when they get answers right. They love the Do's the best. A good example is one card read hop on one foot and make silly face. This game is silly but serious at the same time. I like the Q's and You's. Those questions I even answer and I get to add more to their questions cards and ask why or how does that make you feel. If you don't already own this game you should stop what you are doing and make a dash to your computer to order one!!!
The board game is sturdy and the boys loved the Q monkey on the board game. This wasn't like candy land. It really get's me involved with my foster kids, and get's the kids involved in thinking out different scenario's. Every question is unique. You will be laughing so much, you won't know where the time went. They LOVED doing the wheelbarrow. That's when you put your hands on the ground while the other picks you up by your ankles and you walk on your hands across the room. My foster boys have adhd, and with this game being so hands on. It keeps them moving and well entertained for hours!!!!
I give this a 5 star rating!! It deserves a much higher rating!!! It's a silly quirky game that even makes the grown up (parent) playing realize what it means to be a kid again. The challenges that kids face as they grow up. That we have forgotten about and locked away in our heads. It helps me be more understanding. And teaches them the right and wrong way. Even if they already know the answer, just being a refresher is great too. My foster boys are 6 and 7 and they had a blast. We all did.
